@nepfag IIRC Qvitter extended the API to allow for extra functionality. I do agree that GS underneath was a shitshow in the way it handled itself and if it should ever survive then it needs to fix the maintainability burdens first before adding new features.

@dolus The person in question didn't understand federation so I think it was his ignorance to the concept that led him to that somewhat incorrect conclusion.
Also, I think Qvitter did help to make GNU Social more accessible to those with a feeling of nostalgia (like myself) despite its bugs. Development of GS is still active.

@crabomelettes I have a hacked PS TV and that's considered miles better than a PS1 Classic. For starters, it can run any PS1 game at the speed it was meant to be played. -

@guizzy My assessment is indeed harsh but justified because of the length of time it spans and how it relates to the instance I was on before. Smugloli was my home until I was a victim of unspoken rules highlighting my actions that were out of the ordinary.
