Wow, the manual ubuntu server install process for 18.04 is ... so much better than it was the last time I manually installed a server OS, which now that I think about it was probably 8 years ago.

I was actually alone, and not in social settings for much of the last two weeks, which is where my current issues have arisen.

When I spend long periods of time alone, I begin to notice a lot of ways that I work differently than other people.

I've been more or less alone for the last two weeks for 10 - 12 hours a day most days. This is abnormal, but not unheard of.

I've gotten much worse at filtering sounds in that time. I'm already bad at at it, but I'm having a hard time just Being in public right now, and that becomes a self reinforcing problem.

Also, I'm going to try really hard to get Trade Radio, my gopher server, my clearnet BBS, my own git hosting, and a maybe a new MUD and a .onion service for my BBS installed.

If everything goes according to plan, it'll be great.

I'm spending the morning tomorrow doing some long overdue website maintenance and getting several of my long dead personal sites back online and I'm really excited about it.

@eryn I'll share some of the documents I've written up in the past, but I'm really intregued by the idea of a mesh networked, offline first, delay tolerant set of network applications, with associated hardware that allows users to ... just wander around and be a part of the network.

Let people physically move data between intranets that will never connect.

I've got some thoughts on this scattered all over. I'll try to collect them.
