Corbin Davenport (corbin@toot.cafe)'s status on Sunday, 22-Sep-2019 06:17:47 UTC Corbin Davenport I finally finished Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond. I was expecting a generic history book, but I liked that it focused on *why* civilization developed a certain way instead of just 'this is what happened'.
Also, was I the only person that didn't know horses weren't in the Western Hemisphere until they were brought over from Europe?
