@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo@randynose in the meantime, it sounds like you folks might need a script blocker like #NoScript. You sometimes need to allow scripts from the primary domain to read the article, but it still filters out all the third-party scripts that usually serve ads, trackers, Cloudflare etc. I also use #uBlockOrigin, and other folks recommend #uMatrix and #LibreJS.
I've put off using #umatrix for a long time. There's a bit of work you have to do to make a few websites work the way you want. I finally took the plunge this week.
It's horrifying to see how many trackers there are on some very basic pages.
#Stop-Playing-Bullshit
@paulfree14 Interesting sidenote: Looking at allocated sites and third party cookies the website is using googleads.g.doubleclick.net and of course #Facebook. Well? Getting even bigger problems when not using tools like #uMatrix and some proxy like #Privoxy.
No that's meant as criticism to you, just really a demonstration how websites are full with third party content. :(
@kzimmermann For one thing, with the new #NoScript, it isn't clear to me how to _temporarily_ accept #JavaScript from a site, nor how to revoke those temporary permissions. I haven't used #uMatrix yet, but I'll be willing to take a look.
