    @geniusmusing Yeah, I expect that #Hurricane #Ida will have nearly every federal agency involved in responding, the way Puerto Rico did after Hurricane #Maria. Co-workers are already trying to guess who gets sent to #LA and who goes to #MS or even #TN.

    [1] Does anyone remember a few years back when clowns were being seen near parks, playgrounds, schools, and other places where children congregate? To my knowledge, nothing ever happened, but pranksters thought it would be funny, not realizing that they could have been shot by parents who felt their kids' safety was threatened by the presence of the pranksters.

    post-tropical cyclone #Zeta continues to move rapidly. The center of the storm is over Delaware, about to cross into the ocean (most of the storm is already at sea). Yesterday afternoon / evening, it was heading into Louisiana and Mississippi.

    I don't know what a "level 4" storm is, but apparently, they expect one tonight in #GA. Actually, I do have an idea: The #NOAA / #NWS / #SPC Storm Prediction Center has sent out #tornado watches in parts of #MS, #AL, #TN, AR, #LA ... so their alerts in Georgia are probably an extension of the same severe #t-storm system. S probably means that an EF4 tornado is possible.

    @mike @corbin I had that happen with an order from Best Buy. Turned out it was one of their "associate sellers" (not clearly marked, so I thought I was ordering from #BBY itself), and they shipped half my order to Tennessee via #USPS. They continued to maintain that the delivery receipt for Nashville #TN was proof I received my item in SoCal, so I just quit ordering online from Best Buy. (That was also the first of a series of bad experiences with USPS shipping.)
