#SSD storage devices may not contain the specified flash memory chips, may not perform as expected.
The article doesn't mention it, but I would expect that #eMMC storage suffers from the same problem.
@tootbrute love to know how it works out for you. What's the specs of your Acer? Mine is a netbook I bought in 2010. I've upgraded the hard drive to an #SSD (which makes the world of difference on any computer), and doubled the RAM to 2GB. #Trisquel 8 (with #Mate) runs great on it.
