@gamehawk @kelbot We have crossing guards in #SoCal, but they walk out into the street holding little stop signs. There is usually a sheriff's deputy on-site so drivers comply. We still have loads of people in the car line waiting to pick up their kids. ( #sonTwo's mom's place was close enough to the middle school that she could stand in the driveway and watch him walk home, but she still drove over to pick him up. ) -

A #SoCal "fun center" used to have a place on their mini-golf course where there were two statues and a recorded loop that said this. #sonTwo hated it, because once we passed that spot, I'd be saying that for the rest of the day. -

@delores I wouldn't be surprised if Trump not building the wall as he stated leads to loss of support in #AZ, #NM, #TX and non-urban areas of #SoCal. There's a zone about 50-150 miles wide where local residents feel the direct effects of illegal immigration, and where they are hoping for expanding the wall based on observed effects in much of the area between San Diego and Yuma, where the wall has existed for years. -

@assmilk I'm not a #Taco_Bell fan (in #SoCal, we have Baker's and #Del_Taco, so why eat at TB?), but it might be a place in #PR where I can be reasonably certain that what I think I'm ordering and what I'm actually ordering are the same thing. (Perils of an English speaker in a Spanish-speaking country.) -

@frode I'm currently in Puerto Rico, where it is more humid than I'm used to. While it is currently 102F (9% humidity) in the Phoenix #AZ area where my favorite grandson used to live and 81F (18% humidity) in my #SoCal hometown, it is 80F (73% humidity) in San Juan #PR. -

According to Accuweather, it is 85°F here in the San Juan #PR metro and in my #SoCal hometown. Here, relative humidity is 64%. At home, it is 14%. -

Good morning and #TZAG, everyone. It is 02:48 and 45°F at home in #SoCal, 04:48 and 36°F in #JCMO, and 05:48 and 76°F in San Juan #PR. It looks like they either resupplied cell towers with generator fuel or PREPA fixed the transmission line overnight. -
