    The stabbing / slashing occurred yesterday. The #Shoyu client for #iOS is cantankerous and took around 20 hours to post.

    Getting really annoyed by #Shoyu ( GS app for #iOS ) and its slow, unreliable posting. Sometimes, a post can take repeated sends ... 30 to 45 minutes of continually resending ... before it goes through.

    I am pretty sure it was a #Twitter app that leaped over the wall when T announced #API restrictions meant to extinctify most Twitter clients.

    And if you're considering #Shoyu ( #iOS app ) as your #GNU_Social client, it is garbage. It apparently was an old Twitter client that supports Twitter's functionality from several years ago, and very little else. It is slooo-o-o-o-o-o-owwwww to post, even when other clients are not.

    I haven't seen anything else for iOS that supports GS, but it might be worth going to the big blue discount store (aka #Walmart ) and buying their $80 #Android device, so you can use #AndStatus instead. AndStatus is not known for being fast, but it can run circles around Shoyu, even running backwards, with its eyes closed and its ankles bound.

    The #Shoyu client ( #iOS ) continues to worsen as more Apple updates come through and it does not receive updates. It was already bad before (but has no competition in the Apple App Store).

    Curiouser and curiouser. #Shoyu ( #GNU_Social app for #iOS) seems to only posts by local (to this instance) users in the timeline. Could be some undocumented configuration setting. Could also be the built-in behavior.

    I haven't found another #iOS client, so #Shoyu is back. Somehow, "Timeline" is my activities only, which seems confused. Like most iApps, there isn't anywhere to configure that, either.
