I already use #Okular (and occasionally #Evince, but I usually regret it) to view #PDF files on my #GNU + #Linux laptop. -
Mateusz π π€Ί (0mp at FreeBSD) (mpts@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 13-Jun-2019 11:46:52 UTC Mateusz π π€Ί (0mp at FreeBSD) What do you use on #FreeBSD to highlight text in #PDF files?
I really like the way it works on #Preview on #macOS: hit a shortcut for highlight, select text, and done: selected text is now highlighted.
#Okular is not bad but I would like to find something more lightweight. Also, I have to click more to get to the highlight tool whenever I need it.
OTOH, in #qpdfview I am stuck with rectangular selection (I'd like text selection instead).
