    @bobjonkman As far as I am aware, #Minecraft is not FOSS. It was created by someone called Notch and developed by a company called #Mojang. It required a Mojang account, even on privately host servers.

    Mojang was purchased by #Microsoft, and their accounts were replaced with Microsoft accounts.

    Playing #Minecraft (at least the original Java edition) will soon require a #Microsoft account. Your old #Mojang account is going away.

    I guess I'll try to log in and close my account. I only tried to play it once (spawned underwater, so immediately drowned).
