    I reported a crash last week on #iMast and the dev already fixed it !

    I did include this question in our email exchange and they didn't actually respond to this particularly question

    Doesn't the Appstore have some protection to ensure the version of the app you are downloading is compatabile wit the iPhone Hardware/Software you are running?

    Does anyone else know? Seems like something #Apple would block. Granted In personally hate when computers try to be smarter than me and would rather it let me try, preferably with a warning, rather than just prevent it. #iPhone SE

    I have an #iPhone SE that I use only for testing. As such I don't have a SIM card in it and just connect it to Wi-Fi. It was updated to #ios-16-2 earlier this week, and even when I'm not using it its turning Airplane mode off, which is using more battery. Any recommendations?

New data from analytics firm Branch indicates that just 25% of users are opting in to tracking, which is causing panic in the advertising industry.

    Okay, boot loop slowed, so I was able to call for provisioning ... phone rebooted after 1-2 minutes of use, but was able to complete it on the 3rd call. The #iPhone was okay until #iOS 10.3.0, and then immediately started having severe battery life issues.

    Taking a little break and then comes the actual set up of the new phone and attempting to wipe the old one before shipping it back.

    I realize that much of this is the agency's "enterprise" set up, but I've never heard of an #Android user going through so many steps and stages to get a phone working.

    Started collecting old phones. Found some adapters to make my micro USB cables work with #USB-C and the #iPhone.

    Still learning how to mount the iPhone on #Debian #Linux but no luck so far.

    Someone pointed out that it's probably because `libimobiledevice` doesn't work with the newest #iOS build.

    @ivesen #iOS12.1.1? Or 12.1.2? I've heard "breaks ceľular data" about both. Basically, if you want an #iPhone to work reliably, stay on 10.x. Both 11.x and 12.x seem to break something every release.

    @moonman #iOS beyond 10.x is not very good anyway. My gen5 #iPad now discharges in 1.5 days, even if I'm not using it, thanks to iOS 12.x. Some of my software broke, too.

    The $EMPLOYER #iPhone 5S lasts even shorter.

    The lady has an iPhone 7 for work.

    Today it went in to a boot loop. Just flashing the apple logo on the screen and then going black, over and over again.

    She left it with me to see if I could do anything with it, but I don't know shit about iPhones.

    @ajroach42 my Dad just got an #iPhone, his first #Apple product of any kind, and he's livid that there's no manual included. 😅 He thinks this has the effect of discriminating against older consumers that don't know how to use such #tech.
