Brazilian label Nada Nada Discos has a hoarde of stuff by Swedish #dbeat innovators Anti-Cimex on their Bandcamp. It's all $1000 to buy and they don't show them on their official store, so it must be just for listening, but hey, enjoy it. It's hard and fast and angry and that's what matters. Includes the so-called first dbeat song "Raped Ass" which is an analogy to the system, not a call to arms. I avoided them for a long time without knowing this and I wish I hadn't.
Trying to promote decentralization, self-hosting and counteracting the evil facebookification of everything by creating a simple website for the local hardcore scene so that there at least exists an alternative to facebook for announcing events, gigs and stuff. One thing I learned from this is that I am a _horrible_ web designer. It took me hours to modify a nikola theme to make it look half descent-ish. #uahc #facebook #hardcore #hc
#trans tag on #Bandcamp keeps turning up great finds. Here's the demo from Anomaly, a raw queer #hardcore#punk group. it's blisteringly fast. fantastic lyrics, too.
more good stuff from the #Bandcamp#trans tag! I bring you the self-titled album by Australia's PASSING. oft melodic #hardcore#queer#punk that is not afraid to just let it loose. i like that it's not all *ahem* balls to the wall, but includes little introspective bits before raging agsinst the machine. notable that the notes say it is SUPPORTING WOMEN AND QUEERS IN DIY and that "Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land."
sounds and reads like good stuff, so go buy it-- and do so today because Bandcamp is giving its proceeds to the #Transgender Law Center
female fronted hardcore punk from Olympia, Xylitol's May release of "Is Toxic To Pigs??" is fucking unbelivably loud and fast and fantastic. also note they're on tour right now if you're in the US. they'll be playing with the ulmighty queer punk band Limp Wrist at the Oly Hardcore Fest in August.
