    Let's see if the worse things about the #GreenParty are unrelated to non-mainstream life choices, like having contemporary yoga videos up, or being awesome in the 90s (which is dreadfully uncool for another 3 years). I'm not saying they should be forgiven for such offenses! Just that we ought to throw them on the scale with family separation, voter disenfranchisement, corporate puppetry, and war mongering... #forinstance.

    But the big deal is this: #GreenParty members are humans, and are as wonderful and horrible as anyone else. And the structure of *any* political party is possible it's weakest attribute, in that our species is currently not great at created reliable, sustainable systems.

    But! The values of the party make some behavior out of bounds for greens! And Dems can't say that. They look just like the GOP, logistically, mechanically.

    If I'm honest, that is why I'm registered #GreenParty. I'm represented by Barbara Lee, a much loved anti-war Dem, but I still vote green, and here's why: we don't have the GOP in Oakland or the Bay Area. Dems are the corp. interest money-grubbing party. And what appears pragmatic is many parts seems too cozy to biz or developers, and authoritarian.

    Our Dems don't do enough! Not like the largely unaligned orgs that fill in for the community. And the other parties and folks are cool and fun.
