One thing people need to be aware of with current #P2P implementations is the tendency for individual nodes to use more bandwidth for distribution and network maintenance than actual sending and receiving for the local user. I noticed people complaining about the bandwidth consumption on both #Bitmessage and #Twister. I imagine bandwidth and storage would be issues for #ipfs users.
I don't think these are necessarily negatives, but people should be made aware when they start to participate that their node will play a part in doing the work of the building & maintaining the network.
