     @delores If the purchase leads to work on federating users & issues between repo hosts, then you won't have to care about that. An account on one interacts with any others (modulo blocklists, don't think you've escaped #blockwars).

     @lnxw48a1 microsoft isnt interested in federation or freedom. microsoft is interested in owning free software before it becomes a competitor.

     @delores My comment is mostly about the projects that migrate away from #GitHub. Even though I emptied out my GH account years ago, I still have it, so reporting issues on random software projects there remains easy.
