Finally the project to get #Coreboot running on a #T430 (Lenovo Thinkpad) is finished: Had to compile the concurrent state of the repository and now the hybrid graphics is working and can be switched.
Got a notebook with open-source drivers for #NVidia working and now #Hyperbola is the next to be installed. Thanks to my dad for the on-going support and the very cool idea having the bios-chip fixed with cables so the mainboard mustn't be pulled out everytime. And now we could flash this with no further problems! #Open-Source #Free-and-Libre
Removed the OEM-stickers for #Windows and #Intel. So the notebook is complete free from now on. Nothing left and even the #Intel-Management-Engine is striped down. Bye, bye, #Intel-ME!
@chobodoc No, but good to laugh. Read the whole text so far: First I've striped down the #Intel-ME and removing #UEFI with #Coreboot. Second I've removed the stickers. But a good joke when this would be so easy! ;-)
@chobodoc Therefore I'be written "stripe down". For sure it's not possible to remove it entirely. The whole situation with #Intel-ME is not that easy, but interesting to read / hear more about that in a video.
