So the only Autobot to die in battle was Jazz? The ebonics bot? Nice going, Bay.
I always had trouble with having an ebonics bot, though. I wonder if black people in the 80s watching the original series felt represented or mocked.-

Or I should say #sonOne and the kid across the street watched with me present. I can't say I even knew there was an "ebonics bot" back then. Hallå Kitteh likes this. -

I don't think I thought of it as "ebonics" or "blackspeak" ... it was just a familiar voice for an animated robot. Brandon Hall and DJ Sundog - from the toot-lab like this. -

Hallå Kitteh (clacke@social.heldscal.la)'s status on Monday, 26-Feb-2018 03:07:14 UTC Hallå Kitteh @bthall The friendly interpretation is that they were probably intending to show just that, and he doesn't only like breakdance but also ballet. But from the first moment I saw Jazz in G1, he just felt like blackface, well, aural blackface, to me.
But I don't want to fall into the trap of being upset on anyone's behalf. If @lnxw48a1 says it was nothing special, I'll readjust my radar and reinterpret the bot.
