I am kinda disturbed that the more I use #tootstream, the more I am trying to make my experience using #Mastodon like using using #mutt. In that, I really want more concrete actions and filters on the various inboxes (I know, I should learn more about #ActivityPub).

maiki (maiki@mastodon.sdf.org)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jan-2018 18:45:18 UTC maiki Disturbing, because email/inboxes are not the greatest metaphor, but it is one that I've learned and possibly mastered, and I don't know if I am leaning on that workflow too much, or if I should learn a new system that accommodates streams of data.
I suppose the struggle is between "complete processing" and the futile nature of trying to respond to everything...

Or is it one of those, "madness lies everywhere" scenarios? ^_^
