Christmas Personified as a Catgirl (moonman@shitposter.club)'s status on Sunday, 31-Dec-2017 18:52:44 UTC Christmas Personified as a Catgirl @coolboymew unfortunately this is not an easy problem to solve. Mastodon and Pleroma pull in entire conversations when it detects them, then you can just click on the person. -

Christmas Personified as a Catgirl (moonman@shitposter.club)'s status on Sunday, 31-Dec-2017 18:54:26 UTC Christmas Personified as a Catgirl @nerthos basically, I think having replies separate is good because your followers may not care about giant conversations you're having, just your normal posts. GS in many ways acts like a slow buggy public chat room. lewd Newell likes this. -

Maybe if each "... with replies" tweet was displayed with a little bit of conversational context around it, but without, the just means a particular tweet may not show up where you're looking for it.
That's another #I_would_not_do_it_that_way moment. -
lewd Newell (1iceloops123@shitposter.club)'s status on Sunday, 31-Dec-2017 19:02:07 UTC lewd Newell @moonman @nerthos i can agree since like with media the bots love to post i end up not seeing it because of the loading -

A once-frequent request for #GS. I'd love to be able to wrangle #PHP enough to make this happen, even as a plugin. -

I kinda wanted to do the same back when I was a more active contributor to GS/pA.Christmas Personified as a Catgirl likes this. -

That said, my future development effort is going to be toward Pleroma-BE because it runs faster and with less resources and is cleaner code. -

Bob Jonkman (bobjonkman@gs.jonkman.ca)'s status on Sunday, 31-Dec-2017 19:58:59 UTC Bob Jonkman !GNUsocial does something like that now, at least in the version I'm running (1.2.0-beta5). It's not perfect by any means. I still miss a lot of messages from people that that I'm not subscribed to directly, but @firehose subscribes to. -
