@segfault @moonman more legislation is more state power. regardless I'm not arguing for or against net neutrality here, optimally you would not need legislation for the situation seems to be a real mess in the US

@shpuld @segfault The root of the problem imo is that anti-monopoly legislation is not being enforced. If it were, there wouldn't be communications megacorps able to meddle with 80% of the Internet.

@aka yeah, if you have laws that aren't upheld, it's even worse than not having laws. basically it means they don't mean shit to protect you but they can still be used to punish you.
