In particular, I'm surprised Blade came after Demolition Man, not before.
In my Hollywood headcanon Blade (1998) made Snipes a name and that's why he would be in Demolition Man (1993). π

Watched #Blade (1998).
Some things hold up really well, some stuff feels very 90s (of which some holds up, some not), some stuff feels very 80s, like, Paul Verhoeven 80s. The level of splatter is hilarious.
Love his suit and his fighting style, but man does this story drag on. Haven't decided if I want to see the whole trilogy. This one I've seen before, the others not.
The sudden level of badassery from the good Doctor doesn't feel believable at all, but I like it.
Is the rest of the Blade trilogy fun?
Are the Resident Evil films fun? I love Jovovich in The Fifth Element.

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} Me too. Only one year before The Matrix? Wouldn't have guessed it. As I hinted at, it feels a lot like an 80s film with 90s clothes.
Which reminds me that I haven't seen The Lost Boys (I think?).
Stephen Dorff and Kiefer Sutherland look a lot alike, actually.
