Kid having a hands-on experience of statistical Type 1 and Type 2 errors ... in Indie Cross (Friday Night Funkin' mod, one of the many Dance Dance Revolution type rhythm games these days).

@clacke I remember DDR. Both #sonOne and #sonTwo liked to shame me in that game. Neither one was very good, but I was even worse. -

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} DDR forever means "Deutsche Demokratische Republik" to me and to see it in this ccomment was quite jarring. Took me a moment. π€£ -

@clacke It's been a while since I saw that use of DDR. But I can understand. -

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} In Swedish we might say "Γsttyskland" for "East Germany", but usually it's "DDR". We never use a translated initialism for it, which would be "TDR".
It's still alive as a concept, people will talk about the "DDR Sweden" of the 70s, which had a less liberalized economy with one telco, one TV broadcaster etc.
