I had meant to trawl the logs this weekend, to try and see whether there's a clue about what is happening, but I did not get to it, so I still do not know what happens or how to fix it.
@simsa04 @lnxw48a1 I don't think it matters either, I use one myself. Right now, it can confirm: - There is no block at IP level, and no records of it. - I've setup these two scripts to run every morning: "php /var/www/gnusocial/plugins/OStatus/scripts/resub-feed.php https://gnusocial.net/url/8940902" and "php /var/www/gnusocial/plugins/OStatus/scripts/testfeed.php https://gnusocial.net/url/8940902". I suggest you do the same, @lnxw48a1 at least until we find the error, as they seem to fix things. - Nothing I can find in logs suggests a failure in federation; requests get responses with "accept" codes. - For what is worth, we are using TLSv1.2 and TLSv1.3 only, but I see no issue with that in webserver logs.
@administrator @lnxw48a1 For what it's worth, I observed that when there is a certain "downtime" during which notices from @lnxw48a1 don't reach me on gs.net, and Walt then starts directly addressing me with my handle @ simsa04, pretty quickly his other notices written during "downtime" appear as well in my TL (I didn't check whether it's all or most of those). It *feels* like a direct mention by Walt somehow releases all the other notices, as if they were queued but not released into my TL until this mention.
@simsa04 @lnxw48a1 Maybe... I've run the mentioned scripts serveral times from yesterday, that can cause the same effect you describe. I'm browsing through OStatus scripts, maybe there's more I can add to the daily run.
