@lain @Moon I know enough to see that I need to prepare an exit strategy from fiat, yes, but I doubt normies will be left to weather the collapse. I suspect banks will gradually diversify into crypto services; there's no way our societies will drop into gutter povrety anyone who can't figure out crypto, land or gold on their own.
I do enjoy looking ahead, adopting early, and I trust that those instincts will allow me to make a move ahead of the masses, which should position me in an ok spot, but I'm not there yet.

@lain @Moon I've been paying a lot more attention to all of this recently, it's quite scary as I don't just need to learn crypto specific knowledge, but also financial literacy, something that I usually outsourced to my bank (outside of what I need to understand if they're doing their job well). I doubt I'll ever feel comfortable putting more than "play" amounts of money into crypto on my own.

@guizzy The banks already try to starve the unbanked, so that they'll flee into the arms of the banking system.
I do see them moving into #cryptocurrencies in partnership with national financial regulators, but I see them bringing all the disadvantages of #fiat_currencies with them, except for uncontrolled growth of the money supply and getting killed in the 7-11 parking lot over $20.
