Ugh! I really dislike the way that #MSEdge tries to force people through this introduction ... drops an icon on the desktop without asking, pins itself to the taskbar (again, without asking) and then pushes and nags to try to get the user to set it as their default browser.

MS scheduled obsolescence is a blessing in disguise. Since win7 end of support, i've been installing lots of debian+mate desktop and laptops. It's not my word, but my customers: "Nowadays, this is easier than windows".
