Paul Frields suggesting leaving #Fedora 30 in place for a longer period to stabilize infrastructure between releases - https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/G5GMQZ5OY444EIGT2TJVP45N2NNXUBMK/ - seems sensible, must be crazy trying to hit the targets between the releases.

What with Ubuntu announcing a 10 year release cycle, TEN YEARS! for LTS and now Fedora extends theirs there's not many of the values and principles we all originally rallied to when Linux first appeared left. It all went downhill when they stipulated a minimum of 1GB memory. LOL

Morten J. Zölde-Fejér (mjjzf@mstdn.io)'s status on Tuesday, 04-Dec-2018 13:20:26 UTC Morten J. Zölde-Fejér @bob It is quite clear that they don't. Old issues solved in newer versions often don't get fixed - partly because it creates a cascade of systems upgrades that would break everything else.
