@unascribed Never tried the Nix package manager but NixOS looks very interesting.

As for #Nix as a package manager on another distro, I didn't use it often enough to remember its commands, so it became the package manager I did not use. spotlight night shot and squirrel like this. -

First cleaning up my work area though before doing anything related to reinstalling my OS.
