jrmy (jrmy@plateia.org)'s status on Monday, 10-Jul-2017 22:56:04 UTC jrmy In another place, security certificate expired. No access. Is it that hard to keep up? No email notices for the site owner? *Sigh* -

I know #LetsEncrypt does, but they don't catch every cert. Stitch 🐺 likes this. -

But really, Let's Encrypt is useless without automating reissues right away (save for PoC/test setups and such maybe) - and your own software should send notifications when it can't fetch updated certificates.jrmy likes this. -

No certs possible until that part completed. jrmy likes this. -
Alexander Bochmann (galaxis@mastodon.infra.de)'s status on Tuesday, 11-Jul-2017 13:28:53 UTC Alexander Bochmann @lnxw48a1 @jrmy Certbot asks for Email by default, which can be empty (or just use --register-unsafely-without-email). None of the alternative clients I have used required an Email address for LE account creation.

Bob Mottram (bob@social.freedombone.net)'s status on Tuesday, 11-Jul-2017 13:41:27 UTC Bob Mottram @lnxw48a1 @jrmy I have a script which automatically renews letsencrypt certs every month. If it fails then it keeps trying on subsequent days.
