@lnxw48a1 I use wallabag as a type of save this page thing. Intended more as a read it later app though. Also tried a php bookmarking script some time ago but just ended up using wallabag with tags.
@lnxw48a1 It could be a neat side project; would you mind emailing me about this if you can't find anything? My name here at parlementum dot net. I don't imagine it would be the most work in the world but I'm not familiar with non-mozilla extension writing, nor anything's bookmark format.
Actually I suppose i would only need two extensions, wouldn't I? Against the Chrome API (now called WebExtensions) and against the proper Mozilla one for Palemoon.
@lnxw48a1 I kind of second Pinboard. But I understand people may have a valid reason to not use it because it's hosted not on their own server and maybe first of all it's closed source.
I used to use Shaarli long time ago and it was quite fine. I didn't quite like the theme though and I didn't want/had no time to try to make it better for me, besides theme it was really good. And no idea about extension integrating Shaarli into standard bookmarks.
