   Some folks like Fossil to self-host, which is also what the SQLite project uses internally

   There's Darcs, which has a unique set of features I think some folks will enjoy

   Old-school SVN and CVS aren't dead either

     @cypnk I'm pretty intrigued by https://pijul.org/ , which takes the darcs model and makes it efficient, which has apparently been an issue.

     Cool to hear about https://breezy-vcs.org/ . It's been sad to hear about bzr's demize.
     
     bzr is still the best svn client :-)
