... wow! Community campaigning works. I am certain that most of these would have voted to let it pass unchanged, if activists hadn't been explaining the issues to them and pushing for change.
But kicking the can down the road is easy. All of these people have been made aware that the question is more controversial than they may have thought. But the big question now is, what changes will be made to the bill in the September session?

@notclacke Hopefully, activists will continue to explain what a good law looks like. One thing that did not happen after SOPA/PIPA was defeated in the US was increased and constant lobbying for good copyright reform, so entrenched corporate interests and repressive spy agencies periodically and quietly push yet another bad copyright & surveillance bill. #YABCSB
