Abenteuer für Rollenspiele als Bücher schreibe und eigentlich ganz gerne darin auch zwei spaltigen Text verwenden wollen würde. Und <em>leider</em> habe ich diese Einschränkung zu spät realisiert...<br /><br />Ende letzter Woche bin ich über das "Splittermond Fanlayout für Word <a href="https://meisterperson.wordpress.com/splittermond-fanpaket/" rel="noreferrer">https://meisterperson.wordpress.com/splittermond-fanpaket/</a>" gestolpert. <a href="https://social.diekershoff.de/search?tag=Splittermond" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Splittermond</span></a> ist eines der Rollenspielsysteme das wir derzeit spielen. Eine kurze Suche hat ergeben, dass es <em>natürlich</em> kein Asciidoctor-PDF Theme gibt. Aber mit dem neuen Feature der Mehrspaltigkeit, könnte man ja was basteln. Das oben erwähnte Manko bei der Unterstützung von mehrspaltigen Texten habe ich ganz zum Schluss festgestellt, nachdem die Grundlagen des Themes fertig waren 🥴<br /><br />Aber irgendwie war mein Anspruch geweckt, dass ich jetzt wirklich meine Materialien <em>ordentlich layouten</em> will und wenn es nicht mit <a href="https://social.diekershoff.de/search?tag=Asciidoctor" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Asciidoctor</span></a> geht, dann halt... <a href="https://social.diekershoff.de/search?tag=LaTeX" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LaTeX</span></a> 😎 genauer habe ich das als Anlass genommen mir einen Style mit XeLaTeX <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/XeTeX" rel="noreferrer">https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/XeTeX</a> zu basteln. Das Ergebnis ist nicht perfekt, aber es ist ausreichend für meine Werke. Es ist keine 1:1 Replik der Vorlage und es gibt ein zwei Stellen da habe ich keine Zeit rein investiert um die Lösung im LaTeX Code zu finden.<br /><br />Da ich die Sachen aber eh nicht veröffentliche wird die vermutlich eh niemals ein Mensch außerhalb unserer Spielerunde zu Gesicht bekommen und ich kann mit den Problemchen ganz gut leben 😆<br /><br />Und ja es fehlt noch ein bisschen was, Makros um NSC Blöcke zu setzen zum Beispiel. Aber vermutlich ist es ja eh so eine Sache, wo man immer mal wieder eine Kleinigkeit findet die noch nach gebaut werden könnte.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://social.diekershoff.de/photos/tobias/image/182848657762c27cb21f25e543754568">https://social.diekershoff.de/photos/tobias/image/182848657762c27cb21f25e543754568</a></div><br /><br />Ich hab dabei wieder gemerkt, warum ich von LaTeX zu <a href="https://social.diekershoff.de/search?tag=Asciidoc" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Asciidoc</span></a> gewechselt bin für viele Texte des Alltags (so nenne ich die mal) verwende. Asciidoc ist ähnlich wie Markdown schnell geschrieben und einfacher was die Auszeichnungen des Texts angeht, aber im Gegensatz zu Markdown falle ich nicht regelmäßig auf HTML zurück. Es sieht aber als PDF exportiert dennoch vernünftig aus (also im Vergleich zu Word in der Grundeinstellung). Mal abgesehen davon, dass ich über das Asciidoctor-RevealJS Backend bei Vorträgen die Präsentation und das Handout aus einer Quelle generieren kann. Die Syntax von LaTeX ist halt schon etwas älter, damals hatten die Menschen noch mehr Zeit zum Tippen längerer Texte 😉<br /><br />Auf der anderen Seite habe ich aber auch wieder entdeckt wie "einfach" LaTeX ist (oder sein kann). Das System existiert bereits so lange, das die meiste Zeit dabei drauf geht die Dokumentation der Pakete und die verschiedenen Lösungsvorschläge auf tex.stackoverflow durchzulesen. Es ist <em>eigentlich nur noch ein wenig Kombinatorik</em> existierender Lösungen. <em>Igitt Dokumentation lesen... 😉</em><br /><br />Der Style ist keine 100 Zeilen lang. Ein Großteil davon geht auf die Bekanntmachung der zu verwendenden Schriftarten drauf. Die andere Hälfte ist dann, der Dokumentenklasse beizubringen, über welchem Teil des Hintergrundbildes der Text eingebaut werden soll, also im wesentlichen die Ränder der Seiten zu definieren, und welchen Inhalt die Fußzeile haben soll. Gut die Hauptarbeit an den Style hatten wohl eh die Designer der Schriftarten (in dem Fall hatte der Autor des Word Layouts frei verfügbare Schriftwaren raus gesucht) und der Hintergrundbilder beim Uhrwerk Verlag <a href="https://uhrwerk-verlag.de" rel="noreferrer">https://uhrwerk-verlag.de</a> während der ursprünglichen Arbeit an Splittermond.
